Marvel at the crystal clear water full of eels and trout, flowing directly from the earth at the sacred Fairy Spring. See your traditionally cooked hangi meal being lifted from the ground. During our cultural performance, you’ll learn about our past, carvings and ta moko (tattoo art).

The Details
Getting there: Mitai is an evening experience with a bus picking you up from Heywoods Motel at 5.45pm and returning at 9.30pm.
What to bring: Bring your lauging gear and sense of humour as well as a coat to ward of the chill of the evening air.
Meals: Mitai’s Hangi meal is highly recommended with all dishes being vegeterian except the Hangi cooked Pork and Lamb dishes.
Payment: is made upon arriving at the Mitai Village. Credit cards, eftpos and cash are accepted.
